OUR GOALS
- Reduce amount of time off work waiting for scans and appointments by weeks or months
- Identify workers who can safely return to work early
- Identify early workers who require specific treatment (physiotherapy, nerve blocks, OT review etc)
- Identify barriers for return to work: physical, motivational, conflict, workplace environment
- Involve all stakeholders early, and ensure that management of the worker is highly co-ordinated. We aim to work closely with general practitioners, rehabilitation providers, case managers, and allied health practitioners to offer patients the best possible care in the shortest timeframe.
